AIOps market leader BMC Software, Inc. announced today that it has acquired StreamWeaver.
This is a very exciting time for us, as we embark on the next stage of our journey. For well over a decade, I have had the privilege of working with an amazing team to build a company that has leveled the playing field for enterprise customers – allowing them to unlock the AI Operations data in their IT tools; and for enabling IT Operations software companies to use our technology to get more and better data into their AIOps products.
With BMC’s focus on the AIOps market, new leadership, and commitment to building a modern, cloud-native, and consolidated platform, our choice to join forces was clear from our first conversations. The whole StreamWeaver team is proud to be working alongside such an impressive group at BMC – some of whom we have known for years.
The StreamWeaver Platform products that you have come to know and love will now be part of the BMC portfolio. If you’re a customer, there are no immediate changes planned to your use of the StreamWeaver product, and you will still be able to grow your usage of StreamWeaver offerings.
Together with our new team at BMC we are planning to integrate StreamWeaver into the BMC Helix Platform, and to leverage StreamWeaver’s broad set of data integrations to enable advanced AIOps analytics for significantly improved root cause isolation and policy-driven automated remediation.
StreamWeaver's rapid time-to-value integrations, combined with BMC’s AIOps capabilities, will enable our customers to achieve their objectives with much less risk, while maximizing the value of the massive amounts of operational data locked away in existing tools investments.
Whether you’re a customer, partner, teammate, or supplier – we appreciate the role you have had in supporting us along the way. I look forward to showing you even more in the coming months and years as we move forward as a part of our new home.
